About Us

We are an ATV/ UTV  organization based in Salome, AZ.   We currently have over 200 members enjoying the camaraderie of those living either full time or part time in Arizona’s great “outback”.  Whether it be your first ride or your very experienced, no need to go it alone with bi-monthly club rides and a network of individuals to reach out to for an afternoon ride.  We also take great pride in the responsibilities that go along with riding the trails of Arizona.  Our club regularly does desert outings to clean up the wonderful Sonoran Desert we enjoy touring.  In addition to the club functions,  getting to know others in the area is a great way to expand socially while enjoying the more remote lifestyle of Salome, AZ!

Welcome to Our New Website!

Welcome to the AZ Desert Riders’ new website, hosted by RideTrails.org! We have partnered with RideTrails to improve our web presence to the public, provide a way for members to pay dues electronically, and to help our club generate revenue! Our site is FREE to our organization (we just manage and update the content) and is now supported by a team of professionals that help us keep the site up-to-date and operating.

2020 Spring Adopt A Highway club Clean-up was a success. We had a great turnout of 22 volunteers who collected 16 bags of garbage and found a few big items to round out the pile. We were done in a little over an hour, from sign-in to back at our vehicles!
Thanks to John L, Connie L, Donna S, Cindy T, Norman W, Wayne H, Gary B, Darrell R, Stan M, Bruce M, Dian M, Craig K, Mike B, Walt S, Erich R, Larry G, Ken H, Elwin(Edwin?) C, Lyle B, Ron H, and a special thanks to Dennis Eggleston for walking me through the process, collecting all the bags, and James Rinehart for handling all the initial paperwork and permitting.
See you all in the fall. Teri Fast

AZ Desert Riders held their spring Hwy 60 roadside cleanup on March 5,2020. We had 21 club members show up to pick litter from the roadside of Hwy 60 between mile post 50 to 52. AZ Adopt a Hwy sponsored the project and was lead by Teri Fast and Dennis Egleston. Great job Desert Riders.
Thank you all for coming out. See you in the fall. Everyone have a great summer.
