About Us

We are an ATV/ UTV  organization based in Salome, AZ.   We currently have over 200 members enjoying the camaraderie of those living either full time or part time in Arizona’s great “outback”.  Whether it be your first ride or your very experienced, no need to go it alone with bi-monthly club rides and a network of individuals to reach out to for an afternoon ride.  We also take great pride in the responsibilities that go along with riding the trails of Arizona.  Our club regularly does desert outings to clean up the wonderful Sonoran Desert we enjoy touring.  In addition to the club functions,  getting to know others in the area is a great way to expand socially while enjoying the more remote lifestyle of Salome, AZ!

Feel free to poke around our site and never hesitate to Contact Us.

Welcome to Our New Website!

Welcome to the AZ Desert Riders’ new website, hosted by RideTrails.org! We have partnered with RideTrails to improve our web presence to the public, provide a way for members to pay dues electronically, and to help our club generate revenue! Our site is FREE to our organization (we just manage and update the content) and is now supported by a team of professionals that help us keep the site up-to-date and operating.

AZ State Parks "Show Me Ride"
Many Thanks to AZ State Parks, La Paz Regional Tourism and McMullen Valley Chamber of Commerce for there efforts in organizing the Abandoned Mine Tour on January 13, 2018. And to the Iron Horse Restaurant and Bar, Salome, AZ, for the use of there parking lot!

AZ Desert Riders President Ron Hadford scouted the route for 50 vehicles and 79 participants. Great work Ron. We split into two groups, meeting in the middle for lunch at Desert Queen Mine and the old Winchester town site. Darrell and Norm Ritz led the other group. This State Parks program is a great way to promote tourism and economic development in areas of AZ. Well received by all attendees, we enjoyed showcasing our community and the surrounding desert and history. A great way to share why we enjoy rural AZ and are working towards the betterment of the area for us all!
